I am considering selling my commercial work (SHOPS)

I earn £350 every 4 weeks averaging  about £25 per hour+
I have been regularly doing these every week for the past 13 years

Top commercial work can sell for up to 10x monthly, but £25 ph is quite low so prob 4 or 5 times

Where in the country are you?

It's well established work, 13 years.

If you get less than £1,000 you've been screwed over. Anything over £1,500 and you've got a goodun.

I'm not saying 25ph is bad, just isn't top rate earnings so you're more likely to get an average price for the work ie 5x

No, don't be stupid.  £50-£100 is not achievable throughout the tax year.  £25.00 is as an average.

£100 per hour would equate to £200,000.00 per year. Please don't be a complete arse, there's enough of them on here without your name on the list too..

Is that £80 per week then or £350 for a day and a half each month.

It may affect the price if they are weekly shops.

WEEK 1 = £68
WEEK 2 = £117
WEEK 3=  £64
WEEK 4 = £119

Why is what he said stupid? The question asked was what is top rate earnings from commercial work, not what is the average a window cleaner makes a year, and £50-£100 ph would be top rate earnings.

Illustrate to us all where he said 'what is the top rate of earnings'?.

This was his question wasn't it?

can i have some advice on what price to ask?

I generally reply to the opening gambit. It was Hampshire window cleaning who brought up the top rate scenario. For some reason, as that's not what was asked.

It won't last for ever.... £100 per hour per man is asking for trouble, we are in a competitive market and them prices are taking the p.... Good for you while you get them but there not sub stainable in a over laded market.

Now 20 years ago I believe I could of really gone big properly turn well ver £1 million by now but there is probely a increase of5000% of window cleaners in that time if not more and that clearly means more competitive orices

I am down here dopey b******s. We don't earn £100 an hour as a rule. You do £200,000 do you?

No I didn't think you did.

these sorts of posts are from window cleaners who havent done the job for very long?

most realise very quickly that £100 phr 40 hrs a week will never happen

your lucky if you are doing 25+ x 40 hours a week
thats a sole trader working hard

once you equate staff into the picture it gets harder

what is the round? £350 a month just shops?
do you do a morning a week or something?
i reckon you can get 10x the monthly value for it easy so id want 3500 at least

up north you would get silly money for that round if the shops were easy and compact
