Why risk lending the money to someone else, when you could buy it yourself.
That way your minimising the risk.
It's not buying the machine...it's finding the work that is the hard bit. I have absolutely no intention of doing any sandblasting myself and or putting a team together to do it ...I have done more than enough in my time!.
I don't mind investing in things that other people put the effort into and i get a small cut for my investment. When people go into a new venture they are  enthusiastic and they put so much effort into making it a success.
If it fails there is always the machinery to sell to recoup the costs incurred.
A finance company has no interest other than insuring payments are met. I on the other hand wish to see success as i will earn more in the long run.
Although running of the business is always left to the "owner" i would always strive to push work towards my investment . As of recent i have had several paint removal jobs in London ..I gave away as 1) it's s*** work and 2) I hate London . ;D

It could have been a whoooosh of me passing yours Rob on the way to London to do them! But I don't like paint removal.

Gum removal however...I enjoy.

Mate

I've got 10 000 leaflets ready to go out, all chewing gum & graffiti removal. Don't fancy the long walk round to get the message out there ;D

I really enjoy chewing gum removal as well, you've got no choice, with a year of it ;D

A contractor who buys paint stripper from a mate of mine  he is stripping tower blocks for LBC ...why do you want that sort of work  ? There is a black limestone patio in Essex that wants stripping I offered to Lee but he did not seem keen either!

Got two guys on days & two guys on nights, on a massive project (store) @ Paignton.

Phone call today - can we bail out another job tomorrow, job sorted ;)

Recommendation through my very good friend, Lee @ Blastaway, to clean a roof, unfortunately we couldn't fit it in, needed doing immediately and just when I thought it was going quiet for the night, another very good contact phones me up on a cladding job, booked in for 1st week in July.

The guys are going to be on the Paignton job for at least this week and next week. I am trying to go on holiday tomorrow and it hasn't stopped.

Phones coming with me this time and the laptop, might need to do some work while away, easier doing it with the sun on your back, by the pool ;)

Now you are learning - enjoy the Sun and let me know all about the Farrow system - it looks great!
I have not been on here for a while as we are extremely busy
Just bought the dinky little access machine 3.5 ton 20 metre - as we are fed up hiring.

Dave

Buy my business, so I can go and retire in the sun, permanently.

Sell the villa to pay for it and everyones happy :o ;D

Erith

Unfortunately it is going to have to wait at least a week, till I come back.

I will definitely be doing updates but for now the sun beckons.

We buy all the logoed gear from a local firm, in Leek, Staffordshire and they put the print on them, one stop shop

Lee @ Blastaway

First holiday with no alcohol :'(

Dave

Had a fantastic holiday, some photos of Santorini.

It really is a very special place and one of the, visually, most stunning places I have been to. It is like there is a photo to be taken at every turn.

Feel very lucky to have gotten a number of close up pictures of the butterfly, while I was walking up a back street. Went for a walk the next day and got some more of another (could have been the same one) butterfly but they are still on the camera.

Recommend it to anyone, not cheap but somewhere to take the special lady in your life, that may not be the missus ;D ;D
