We have pressure washed white lines from Tarmac and removed white line paint spillages, using just raw power, turbo nozzles and a lot of flow, basically chipping them off, it is a slow and arduos way of doing it.
We have removed white lines from an undercroft car park using pressure washing sand blasting lances - it worked well, slow but the amount of crap to clear up was phenomenal.
What impressed me with this system was how clean it was, virtually no mess and if I am honest I couldn't believe that it could strip print from a cigarette packet and still have oommpphh. The lack of mess was the deciding factor, it was also very local to me, I knew of the seller, the service people who look after my pressure washers knew the system and the seller - from that it wasn't a difficult decision.
I have been looking at other set ups, of all brands and styles, for quite some time. I wasn't particularly paying attention to names and whether it could be used on Heritage stuff, there is plenty of work out there without them, though I am sure that the Stonehealth system could easily damage detail in the wrong hands, on his website one of Brians guys says they pull back away from the works, when required.
It isn't the system it is the operator and one of the posters on here is not getting that, the media being volcanic, though others can be used, was another factor, as it is environmentally friendly.
All round, as I have discussed with Nigel @ Farrow Systems this morning, a good in to a very large market.
