I just cannot get my head round Twitter, I understand Facebook and why you see the need for Youtube but Twitter.

Am I missing something.

Who uses it and why and what do you get from it?

I agree with chris,

When i read it, it makes sense, because i am in the industry, but if i was just some guy with a big yacht, i would be baffled by the bu11poo..

You need to tell them what they want to hear, like chris said, fully mobile, can go anywhere, self contained, no mess no fuss, can come to your factory and its like we arent there.. blah blah.. that kind of thing.

Sell it, but not with the info about the farrow. Although, you need to word it better so that at the start the farrow system is sold, so they know its the best system out there. Give them confidence in the system.

But otherwise, i like it. Agree with chris again on a contact on every page, and a youtube page.  

There is too many pages in my opinion. And you need to make the services page a bit bigger, as in, you need to point out what services you provide (boat hull cleaning etc) larger, so that if i owned a boat, or had a piece of furniture worth 1000's i would know by the second page that you could clean it. I dont want to have to search your whole site to find out if you can do what i want.

But i think with a couple of tweaks, its good.. your web guy is pretty good, took me days of tweaking to get mine how i wanted..

Thanks for that - constructive criticism is always good and I am listening.

The layout is right, definitely too much on silicosis, possibly put a link in there, with a brief overview and tie it in with why the system is better health wise.

Still don't get Twitter and why??

I have a twitter account, but i have it linked to my facebook, so that whatever i post on facebook, posts to twitter.

I dont really get twitter either, but its just another social media link to my website and my business. I have been told that when using twitter, dont use it like facebook, in that you dont just flood your twitter feed with business related comments ect, and dont try and sell your services on tiwtter. Post everyday comments, interesting comments, about your town, about your day etc.. This engages people a lot more than forcing your business down their throats, gets you followers, and retweets faster and people will be more inclined to follow you which in turn gets your business out there, if that makes sense.

Twitter isnt really an ideal platform for our kind of business, its more suited to retail and products.

And after having another good read through it, i would definitely bring up the types of work you do to the forefront of the site. Make it known WHAT you can clean, and different types of works you can do. Dont hide this info away on the third/fourth page.

You don't need to understand it ..you just need to understand that you need it!
 Social media is the next generation of advertising. You post a vid on your you tube account( which you will do) and it automatically links to your facebook pages and website. Google then sees this as an "active" account which is good for the website in general.
