The link goes to a water tank.

I don't know anyone who has a sapphire, I do know that prochem sell them for now but chemspec bought sapphire last year I'd expect chemspec Europe to eventually take over at a later date.

Prochem won't warranty the machine if you convert to LPG which is a great saving on running costs and also leaves a cleaner internal van.

Have you looked at Phoenix from John gotts also Woodbridge ?

They have some reviews on the american sites.

Easily fit your van

Look at Hydrasmaster , either HM or the English Phoenix

Look at what the hoses etc come too as well, and prochem sub water tanks are ££££££

I would think that hose reel and tank would be a bit big for a traffic,it will hold nearly 1/2 a ton of water without anything else.

Thanks for the replys So if chemspec started doing the sapphire but I bought it from prochem would prochem still service it. They do a sub water tank is that more suited they also do http://www.prochem-uk.com/product.php?xProd=316&xSec=43&jssCart=2c51cb72be2edc0f903cad512548a831 would this all fit in my van with room for other kit do you know how much hose I could run from this machine.

Don't think Chemspec have any plans to start selling truckmounts again.

I think you may still struggle with that hose reel there still quite big and heavy same as the old Blueline ones.To be honest i think you will struggle to get all that in a traffic and still be legal.

Prochem said servicing should be done every 100 hours does this sound right they charge £150 each time a 100 hours doesn't seem much to me but I have never had a truckmount before

500 hrs full dealer service, 50 hrs change oil, 100hrs oil fiter all things you can do yourself.

HM have place in Oxford, Alltec service machines and I think theres a good TM servicer in Gloucestershire.

I have a prochem legend.

It's not a service every 100 hours.

Oil change with filter, few tweaks and bits every 6-8 weeks costs£130-150.

If you get into that pattern then you can avoid breakdowns, and stoppages on jobs.

Plus you get a good service history for selling at later date

Do you guys with truckmounts use hose reels or just store the hose as I'm a bit concerned about it being to heavy I have a renault trafic swb?

basic maintenance on any truckmount is very simple even for those without knowledge.  Every 100 hrs would be Oil & Oil Filter which would cost between £15 - £25 depending on where you got the parts.  Even the changing of the oils to the water pump / vacuum blower is simple as too is the changing of spark plugs and air filters.  Once you have had time to get used to the machine you would find its easy to service & maintain which would cut out the cost of travelling to and from a dealer plus their service costs.

As for the weight.  Best thing to do is try and get the weights of everything you require (remembering to add the weight of fuel in your van and machine, the weight of water in the tank and your own body weight).  Its is possible to use smaller vans such as the one you have but you would have to be careful about how much water you carry.  It may be best to get a van with a higher carrying capacity.

Now for the debate regarding hose reels.  The can make life easier and do make the van tidier however they do add alot of weight and take up alot of room.  Alot of guys simply coil the hoses up and hang them from the side of the van using bungee straps or large hooks.  This still means the van looks tidy, less weight to carry and more room.  IF you were tempted in to getting something like a Renault Master or Ford Transit LWB then id say YES get a hose reel as you will have more room and higher carrying capacity.
