Yeah got one of those already....hozelock fittings for the females part last about a week. I'm fed up of keep going to b&q buying more at £5 a go. I thought these replaced the swivel joint???

I've had mine for a couple of years no problems. Are you abusing them?

Try spraying with WD40 once a week to keep it moving.

Are the Gardiners 90* elbow different to the ones sold by Cleaning Spot, B&Q etc because they all look exactly the same even down to the blue washer the blue washer.

The ones we sell are exactly the same as the ones that Cleaning Spot sell (we both use the same supplier). I have not seen these ones available in B&Q though.

Personally I do not use the brass swivel elbow and just use the standard black plastic one on the side of the reel with a standard orange and black female coupling on the end of the pump hose - works really well for me and I find they connect more easily. However most of my subbies do use the brass elbows - each to their own.

Your plastic one's OK because your subbies do all the graft while you plan world domination!  ;D ;D ;D

Use a plastic hoselock female onto brass elbow. I had non stop leaks until I switched to plastic. I saw it on here and it works. No more leaks ever!
