Mark's due to start when Jake (number one franchisee, starting on Tuesday) is full in September.

Just a shame he didn't give our name and phone number while he was at it.

Well done Vin. I must admit you did seem cocky when you used to post on this and another forum. You've proved them all wrong! Well impressed.

I found the forum originally and asked for advice on how feasible it would be to start out. It was something I'd thought about for a few months and current job had turned sour for various reasons.

I came across Vin just from doing a general Google search whilst researching the subject. I made contact from the thread on here about the franchise. The way Vin dealt with all the questions from the experienced people on here really helped to make the decision very easy.

Can't wait to get going next week as it's taken a good few months to get here.

Great,

I have to be honest when i started back in early 2004, if there was such a franchise around then where i could earn from day one with customers provided i probably would of jumped at it  :)

Yeah, more window cleaners are needed.  Nothing like driving prices down.

Don't come near me.  Go near Nottingham or somewhere.  Great Yarmouth etc.

We're not driving prices down.  We're the most expensive cleaners in the area, if you're interested.

I've had enquiries from all over the country.  Could be coming to a town near you in a few years...

To all the people saying "well done"; thanks for the thoughts but, just to clarify, Jake (franchisee no 1 - "1576" above) doesn't start until Tuesday when I hand him a bundle of work to get him going.

It'll be a success when Jake's as busy as he wants to be, earning as much as I think he can.  Then I'll be happy.

Then the guy on TV will start and I'll be wound up about his success instead, though at least I'll know for sure that it's working by then.

LOL, Paul Smith used to come out with that line when 'building' 'Powerclene', eight years ago on the other cleaning forum (can't remember its name - that's gone down the pan as well).

Doesn't hurt to wish you luck, mate, but this ain't 2005 anymore, things have changed.
