Pressure washing training days
« on: May 22, 2013, 08:30:28 am »
I am going to bite the bullet on this one and with the small amount of experience gained i will be offering training in pressure washing.

Not formalised to date but i will be putting something together in the next couple of weeks and once done I will post an update.

The dates will be at our trading address, which is not pretty - it is only a service unit, on a working farm. There is plenty of opportunity to get stuck in and get dirty and will be mostly hands on, with some paperwork and I will put a certificate of training on the end of it.

If there is interest I will keep all updated

Hi Rob

What would you exactly be teaching, i would be interested but not to learn how to turn a washer on or what different nozzles are for but more on whats the best way to get rid of stains like oil etc and best way to clean different surfaces that type of thing.

All of the above and some more.

As I said, not finalised yet and I need to do some work on it but I will post a full criteria. Busy time at the moment and I am trying to set another, not related business up as well.

Paperwork, templates for RAMS etc and introduction techniques to market your business.

Will be offering telephone support moving forward to anyone who attends and from the training days I would like to build a network of like mined businesses that can assist on our works.

I will keep everyone informed

Many thanks

I will say from the start - if people are expecting fancy this might not be for them. I am not a teacher, I will give you advice from experience and suggestion.

We may all gain from it, me included and will be more informal - don't come suited and booted

What you do with the info given will be up to you.

The certificate will only count for something if it is used properly and holds no actual value, what you can say with it is that you have been certificated by a company that works with Tesco & Sainsbury's and has worked on the Olympic Park - that has to have some credence and i believe could be used effectively in marketing.

Let me spend some time on the content, what we will be putting together, what can be gained from it etc and I will price it to reflect.

Thanks, you could turn this into a really good training course, as there is a need for this kind of training from a person who has had hands on experience.

Are there currently any official certification in pressure washing ?
