3000w gutter vac
« on: May 22, 2013, 07:15:38 am »
Hi any electricians on today? I am considering buying a 3000w gutter vac can I plug that into the customer socket in home. The reason I ask is that according to my calculations it will draw 13amps which is right on the limit. I won't use all three motors all the time I guess.

What do you think?

If in doubt buy the 2400w numatic twin.. These 3000w vac's look way to big for normal housing jobs IMO.

I have a 4200 watt vac and it works fine in a standard outlet. A genny for that size will be expensive, I've never had a customer refuse me use of electric.
