Pressure Washer Advice
« on: May 21, 2013, 02:04:15 pm »
Hi,

I'm recently finding that a lot of my custies ask me if i do pressure washing.

As a complete noob to this, and not wanting to spend a lot of money for odd jobs, i was looking at this one:

http://www.pressurewasher.co.uk/nilfisk-c110-4-5-x-tra-patio-bundle.html

Can anyone explain what I should be looking for in a pressure washer - i.e. whether i should be more interested in the flow rate or bar psi etc.

Also do i need the patio bundle for cleaning stone/concrete. What does the patio cleaner attachment do that the standard pressure washer cant.

Apologies for the noobishness of this post :-)

You will get a better response on the General cleaning section of CIU.

(You would need a petrol, or diesel pressure washer to clean commercially)

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I am loving that Nilfisk bundle man! Truthfully, you would struggle to clean your teeth with that! It would be rubbish!

You need a Honda cobra GX340 or 390 at 16 litres a minute. Anything less than 15 litres a minute and you will struggle to make any money. Then get a whirlybird and turbo nozzle. For £1500, you should be set up and ready to tackle any job.  :)

I get the impression you are on a shoestring though, so maybe I can come and watch when you do your first job with the Nilfisk!   ;D. Are you selling tickets for the event? ;D

Unfortunately the Nilfisk won't cut it if you want to finish the job before midnight!  ;D
You could also consider hiring a pressure washer for the odd job, but a decent one is not cheap to hire, and you would have to price the jobs very well to make a profit out of it.

He doesn't even need to come down to the general cleaning section - you've crucified him before we have even had the chance ;D

Well done ;D
