WCW Sprayer
« on: May 18, 2013, 01:17:38 pm »
Anybody else had issues with these?
First of all the pressure won't adjust, it's
on full all the time.
Now the bl**dy thing won't charge.
There's a green light on the charger that's
lit but I think it's meant to flash when charging.
Is that correct?

One of my chargers stays green but still works.
I've found these sprayers not particularly well assembled so I'd check all the connections.

It's red when charging.Turns to green when full.

You might need to order a new speed controller from WCW.

They don't last long....terrible build quality....i'm back with my IK-9. Shame someone can't build something of quality...it's hardly rocket science....

Going to have to ring them Monday.
When I plug into mains it's red, when I
attach it to sprayer it turns green.
Definitely no charge left in sprayer, so
frustrating.
Had a shop to do yesterday teatime. makes
you realise how much slower it is with IK9.

I've had these for a good few years now and for what they cost they are brilliant. You do have to make sure that water doesn't get into the electrics and you can do that by running a bead of silicone around the bottom of the tank where it joins the the body.

Tried it yesterday dinnertime doing next door
neighbours rug and it's fine.
Showing a full charge and pressure adjusts
fine.
Think there a bit hit and miss and must admit
when I unscrewed it there was a fair bit of
moisture so left it in house overnight.

I've never used an electric sprayer so cant give an objective opinion, but just came across this one http://www.thebigclean.co.uk/battery-sprayer-p1469.
Is this sprayer any good?
