how you may save money on your water bill??
« on: May 17, 2013, 08:31:48 am »
this will only apply to certain households but water companies do run schemes were by if you have a sick relative or a person / child with a disability you can get a large rebate on your water bill.

a classic case would be incontinent with a senior member of the household

bed wetting due to a persons illness  etc

Take a spur off your neighbours supply. Best to do it in the middle of the night in case they have an objection...;)
if it is dirty it is fair game

Apply to your water supplier for an abatement on your return to sewer volume charges.
I have mine reduced from assumed 95% return to sewer to 24%.
Just tell them you transport the water away from your premises to clean customer windows.
As some have said they may insist you fit a sub-meter but they don't always. ;D ;D
