Renaults are poop, but seen as you liked the traffic why don't you get a vivaro, same van but vauxhall. I had a traffic, it was crap and I've had two vivaros since, great vans.
Both the Vivaro, and the Traffic have the same renault engine !
I'll take your word for it that they do but I never said anything about the engine. Dealing with Renault was one of the worst experiences of my life  >:( Then the van itself, i'm pretty sure they use pritstick to put everything together, if it didn't come off in my hand then it just didn't work.

I get about 25mpg but ...

I have had mine 14 months and only done 6500 miles - it's all stop start up to about 10 miles a day with only a few days when I do about 30 miles.

I believe it should do mid thirties on a run.

By comparison my 1.3 Doblo does about 39-40mpg and 50mpg on a run.
It's a game of three halves!

The van was delivered back to the dealer today as per the courts decision.

The dealer now has till 4pm on the 28th to pay me the full purchase price plus costs of £700.

Fingers crossed  :-\

Every penny paid IN FULL into my bank today.  Result!!!!!

I was a bit skeptical but glad to say the dealer turned out to be decent in the end.

I've just bought a Toyota Hiace SWB - solid van. My dads on his 3rd in about 30 years. It took me a good few months to find one though. Keep your eyes peeled!

Not really-if he was decent he would've refunded your money or not sold you a pup in the first place!
Glad you're sorted though.
Nothing worse than van trouble.
