« on: May 10, 2013, 08:24:53 am »
Hi everyone I'm after some advice again... :) i was wondering what you all consider best for ink removal and make up? i have been using low odour white spirit for make up for about 6 months but i have been told citrus gel is better...
Any advice gratefully received

The truth is there isn't one chemical that does it all so you need to have an assortment. Citrus Gel, Resolvit, Solex, Solvall, Citra-boost, Liquigel.

Nail Varnish remover is also worth having in your armory.

Isopropanol is the best thing for removing most inks, it is what the printing industry uses to clean its machinery.

Danny Citrus Gel works nowhere near as well as prochem solvex on make up. White spirit I believe is similar to solvex and I did start experimenting with that recently to good effect so I would stick to what youre doing. White spirit is much cheaper than Solvex.
