If you do agood job and built a good relationship with the customers you aint got nowt to worry about, the customers that go back to him are customers not worth having

Don't worry aboiut it unless you start loosing a lot of custards! then have a word in his hear. the word should be something like "Your taking the preverbial my friend. Do one!"  ;D

That's a crap situation mate. I hope you find a way to stop him approaching your customers.

Maybe outing him on here will help stop others getting stung by him in the future?

How did you find out Danny? I'd approach him and be as polite as possible but straight to the point as well, calmness will put him on the back foot, you go up shouting and screaming an he's won half the battle then

you say a few years ago,how long
is he targetting just your customers or canvassing every house in the area,i know you may think its your customers but he may be door knocking everywhere

if it was 5 years ago and his canvassing all the houses in the town, village, city? i can't see why you can complain, his entitled to come back in to the industry, its just more competition i am afraid

I disagree Bob. He has sold the customers on in good faith. The time frame shouldn't matter imo, he should never be re-canvassing those same customers. If he wishes to canvass the rest of the street that's fine (unless you both signed a contract forbidding that)

i think the time frame might be the key
lets say its 5 years those customers may have moved on? who is to say that the customers kept kleenaway on,this may be what he thinks and is therefore taking a speculative look ? rather than hard targeting
we only have one side of the story

That's true Bob but imo it's still very scummy to be approaching customers he sold on. Is it anyone on the forum Danny?

Regardless of whether customers have moved on, time lapsed etc its extremely bad form.
He's doing this hoping to get some of his old customers back so he can build a round fast.
There's plenty of other areas he can target.
