everyone is happy, off work, sun is shining, the dirty will be shining on their windows and plenty of people to speak to while were out!
However since buying my newest 10,000 leaflets i havent had one call yet! SODS LAW

Got 10 new custys since dropping flyers on friday and they just keep coming got 4 jobs to price tomorrow , getting emails every day . Mike

From all te areas we work, (4 different towns) I've got one street of about 100 houses, and never seem to get any response from leaflets, knocking, or both. In some areas, I get a fantastic reaction and pick up loads of new custies, and just this one street is baffling me. 

I've got complete muppets as competition, I know that sounds bad, but they are really dim witted and do a crap job too. So it's nothing to do with them being in the area too. Just don't understand it.

hi Mike, thats really good going from a leaflet drop!!
i have just got rid of about 500 leaflets just outside the best highstreet in england , and i will be surprised if i get any response! ( i only did 500 as i got 2 huge blisters)

Hi Chris, i know what you mean there is a estate about 5 miles from me, i have leafletted each house 2 times in 2 years, every house is over the value of 800k, full of footballers, business owners, famous people etc and never got one reply!!! so i am guessing this particular street your on about is full of big houses? or new houses? if so its probly the fact they are that rich for a reason the fact there to tight to spend money!

IMHO it is a combo of the right leaflet and a quality website . Mike

h2o, my sister used to live on the estate you are talking about.
I kid you not, £10 is what the guys where charging. 3 of them, trad.
There house had sliding sash windows with very small paynes.
4 sets of french doors out back.
6 bedrooms.
If you have prices on your leaflets your onto a loser around there.   I could not believe it. I quoted £25 as a 'mates rates' job.

No way !! i noticed quite alot of them were clean but i always leaflet just incase because we all know alot of ladder monkeys are poor ( NOT ALL BEFORE THIS CAUSES A DEBAIT )
i would say the average price down there has to be minimum £15-20 but some of them would be pushing £30+

Delivered 2000 leaflets 2 months ago and from that and my website have 700 pounds worth of 4 weekly work.
Plus loads of add on jobs and a couple of commercials.
Thats because my website is excellent.

from 2000 leaflets and a website you gained that much regular work?
why did you only do 2000 leaflets i would be straight out with another 10,000 if that was the case

i have leafletted each house 2 times in 2 years,

Twice in 2 years isn't nearly enough in my opinion. We try to leaflet areas we don't clean every 3-6 months. Areas we do clean  we try to leaflet every time we are there (depending on how busy we are at the time).

im only 20, i started when i was 17 going on 18.. back then spending money on leaflets wasnt as important as going for nights out haha! now im 20 i feel old and want to get serious about work!

We don't use flashy fliers. Just half A4 black and white. Keep it simple (and cheap).

nooo im saying... i have just under 10,000 very nice double sided ones that i have been recently leafletting, i havent had any comeback yet other than extras. My point to this post was to see if people were finding it the same, i am out leafletting everyday im not working, including after work on saturdays!

With over 20 years experience in leaflet dropping and other advertising sometimes it good to look at your leaflet and see if its professional enough Or it could simply be the case that someone else has recently leafleted and canvassed that area

I have another 8000 leaflets to go out but struggling to keep up with first cleans.yes all new work average 10 pounds plus.
