Yes and you could do with finding a local supplier for the cheapest price, you can get it off ebay though. PPE.

Size means nothing mate. Depends on the extent of the spots and how you apply it. We add amine oxide and it spreads nicely using less hypo. You try spreading just hypo and water mixed, you'll be there for a long time. Tried low pressure sprayers, wouldn't advise. The amount of times we had blocked nozzles and you don't wanna be farting around trying to unblock them. Soft car brush for £15 and a bucket.

If you pre wet all the stone first with plain water you will save yourself a fortune in Hypo and the Hypo will be working where it is meant to on the surface

I didn't know they sold it, it wasn't on their price list, i'll pick some up next time. I won't say the name because it seems like you don't want me to but it's the one near Crown Oil and Taybur, fortunately Matt who owns Crown is one of my customers so i'm down that way often.

I'm not ar**d really pal. I've put it on here before for people and told others where to go. If it helps people do a better job then fair enough. I'm not one to feel threatened by competition. There's plenty of work around, you've just gotta be committed to get to the quote. It can be difficult around your work booked in.

Ask for Mark at Walkers, tell him Lee told you about the amine and he'll bang some in a tub for you. £2 a litre. It's not on the list as it's a raw material.

Cheers pal, going to pop down on Wednesday as i'm at Crown. That hypo he sells is lethal as well, not used it until about two month or so back and ruined a perfectly decent pair of work pants and jumper :-(

Hypo works better if you bring the ph level up with caustic first.

Depends on the extent of what you're tackling mate. Water first then hypo and always amine last. We've done mixes with too much water then had to do stronger, you just learn from one job to the next. Even thought at times didn't need as much hypo in this mix.  ;)

Amine about 100-150ml, like half of a can of diet coke aspartame to a 15-20 litre mix. Once added last knock up well.

Fan nozzled off some concrete base panels this morning at a house then brush on a mix to shift the spots, just left on and they looked great.

Lee, do you just leave the hypo on the black spots at the end of the job them mate? Without rinsing it off and just let the rain do it.
