Would you be able to use the 300mm mosmatic FSC with vac port indoors the way you would use a sx-15
cheers

Not as good as the Mosmatic only sucks from the whole casing whereas proper spinner tools have an extraction ring around the perimeter if you get what I mean.
They are ok for exteriors as they will suck up most of the water and debri providing you have an adequate vacuum. A tool like the SX 15 will leave hard floors much cleaner and drier.

No not really, to much dirt and stones and sludge on exterior, the vacuum slots are very small on the sx12, also if a stone got into your blower..
Its really not suitable at imo.
SX12 should be used indoors at 800 to 1400 psi. Sometimes I'm using it only as a rinse tool after rotary.

the smaller mosmatics do have an outer ring for the suction and works well for indoor cleaning,
if you watch this video you will see I use it attatched to the truckmount and even on an uneven serface it vacuums the water away very well, on indoor tiles if removes 100%

When did they change the design Mike? I have sold these in the past and they never had a seperate ring vacuum intake on them and most people were dissapointed in them so I stopped selling.
I'll make enquirees and if what you say is correct it may be worthwhile stocking them again as that modification will make it a great tool, thanks for the info.

John
The one Mike has looks different to the one on mosmatics site so they may have changed the design if you can check let me know if you are going to stock them.

I originally bought my first one 5yrs ago, at this time it had a double skin to create a vacuum around the outer edge.
The one in the video is a 12inch version with vacuum port, perhaps they are sold as wall cleaners as shown in ths link, but fitted with a lance instead of a handle to create a floor FSC

They were the ones I sold. They definately didn't have a seperate vac chamber just an open port. I sold these to fire and flood companies to clean fire damaged walls and floors and the feedback wasn't good. They much preferred the turbo hybrid/sx designs.

They must make different models as I have fond memories of jamming a screwdriver In between the skin to scrape out the grass and crap after using it outside.
I bought mine from techclean
