whats the problem
« on: April 30, 2013, 05:03:17 pm »
Had a guy working with me today. I was on one side of the building and he was on the other. Anyway, he was using my Honda pressure washer and just left it running while he went inside. So full pressure one minute, puts it on the deck and walks away, leaving engine running flat out. Don't know how long it was like this, I walk round and find it splattering, just about out of petrol.
From that point on, when I release the gun handle, the flow if water won't stop, it keeps going but at much reduced pressure, and the engine starts running real rough. What's gone?
Thanks for any response.

sounds like you might have a bit of crap or grit block in your gun  so it's permanently leaking out even when the trigger is closed, if thats the case the rough running will be the engine going in and out of bypass
