Rotovac 360i
« on: April 28, 2013, 08:47:56 pm »
Thinking of getting a rotovac for a number of reasons

1, They look like the make easy work of mingers.
2, They look easier than wanding
3, They look like a good marketing tool, and impressive to the custy  during cleaning.
4, They look versitile ie. Hard floor cleaning, bonneting, carpet etc
5, I like new stuff

The question is in reality are they any easier?

What I meant is do you only use it on dirtier carpets/restoration jobs or do you use it instead of a wand even for carpets with medium soiling?

I use it on commercial jobs where or not trashed, if im doing large empty houses or area with easy access then i will use it as its a lot easier and cleans better. It will rip the shi t out of black top if you have enough heat running through it.

I have the 360i,wouldn't be without it,use it on 90% of my jobs.I bought the hard floor attachment, not too impressed tbh.I haven't pushed the tile & grout part of my business, partly because i wasn't getting the desired results. This however may be down to my inexperience and use of chemicals.I fully intend to do a course on hard floor cleaning in the near future so maybe the t&g head will serve me in the future.

Paul, would you advise using the t&g head for agitation, had been toying with the idea, the bristles are not imo overly harsh :-\,not too unlike the brush i used to use for agitation !'would appreciate your thoughts.

Regards,
