Is a victor wolf 15" slow speed rotary too big for agitating domestic carpets???

depends on the area your cleaning. Would be a pain to use daily on residentials though.

If you think about it, there are guys using DF machines in houses! they are 17 inch

15 inch slow speed rotarty, i use one daily for aggitation on domestics. Oreck to slow for me.

steven I got my victor wolf with driveplate on ebay for £60 but the guy was local and it was a bargain as I've seen them go for a lot more

Ive seen 1 local, looks in very good condition, with drive board, shampoo brush and scrubbing brush for £100.....??

steven to be honest I don't use it much at all  . for a hundred quid that's more of a bargain than I got as the shampoo brush and scrubbing brushes are about 70+ quid each . i'd bite the guys hand off for that. from what I've heard the victor is a very reliable machine aswell .

it is a reliable machine, and I would bite his hand off too.

the only thing that I have found iffy in the victor is the ratchet for raising and lowering the handle can slip and and occasionally move freely.

Dan there is a cracking place to get pads etc from and to service the machine not too far from you in Basingstoke.

Dan Hector is right (as always) Brushrite are brilliant for drive plates, shampoo scrubbers etc. Family owned and nothing too much trouble. I have a rotary but use my TM4 as it is easier. Lot more expensive though.
