Two different products with different purposes...
I went from using Powerburst to SPM and i have to say i still get great results (subject to good agitation) even on minging horrible carpets!
Powerburst is still an excellent product and Enz all has its place... especially on urine, blood and vomit

Hi Guys

As has been said Enzall contains enzymes which can be asthma sensitisers and are best used as trouble shooters rather thn routinely.

Powerburst is a good quality cleaner, one which I use a lot of but remember it is high pH so be careful on wool.

Cheers

Doug

I tend to use Shockwave, with huge success. I love how it digests most spots and stains almost instantly. I tend to spray on, agitate the spotted/stained area by rubbing firmly with my foot (with shoe covers on) and I can instantly tell if the spot/stain will come up (normally it just disappears there and then) More often than not it does with synthetic. Today I did a whole house, including lots of food spill and old coffee stains using this method without any need for a spotter.  Its so quick and cheap.

I imagine the same would apply to enzall since they are both enzymes, but correct me if im wrong.

Enzall is one of the best products I use for those jobs that require it, but I do find it does not dissolve as fully as i'd like and it can block a sprayer jet so I just filter it. Doesn't detract from it's performance though. How does Shockwave dissolve?

Occasionaly blocks the sprayer, but not often. When it blocks my Orion I tend to unscrew the sprayer wand, give it a quick spray so it gushes out, and then screw back on. Quite easy to rectify.

Whenever i mix powders i never get lumps as long as i add the powder to the bucket of hot water and stir.
Then transfer to the sprayer

I tried many times with Enz-all but always found Prochem PowerBurst did a better job.  Im not saying Enz-All isnt a good chemical because its very good.......just not as good as PowerBurst

How can you use powerburst and think it's not good enough I need something better?

Maybe your mixing it wrong?

It is quite high PH, so I would acid rinse on natural fibres.

Surely whatever chemical you use you will get jobs in which the results aren't quite perfect. You wonder "if I had used such and such would it have been any better?" Why not try it out and see how it compares? They are different products so surely will react differently. Maybe you discover shockwaves needs slightly less dwell time to do the same job, maybe it eats up certain spots that powerburst does not. Maybe you prefer the odour (i find powerburst odour a bit in your face). Maybe it works out cheaper (i cant tell you as never compared them on price, but my massive tub of shockwave seems to be going on forever)

Surely it never does harm to try new stuff?

I will take a big tub of Shockwave to TACCA tomorrow if any body wants to by it , I think it is a 15kg tub, £25 if anybody wants it.
