In the ad it says the vac is 1000 watts.
Is that powerful enough? (I've never used one so don't know)

I have the grippavac which is a 2400w and is pretty powerful even when compared to the omnivac 4000w.

I have heard that if you just go on wattage you can be misled.  it is also the design of the vac itself that determines the power of suction.

the full kit (except generator) was £1018 all inc.

I am very happy with it.  the carbon poles are a must IMHO.  the vacuum is powerfull too, and Oliver @ grippatank has been very helpful.  they will come to you and give you a demo on a house of your choice which was a clincher for me
