winning work #4

okay so here is winning work #4

things to keep in your van:

protevtive boots (you probably wear them anyway)
hard hard
hi viz jacket
gloves

when you see a new buiding going up (with loads a glass), get on site (thats why you need the boots etc in your van to get on site) and ask for the site manager... hes not gonna give you any work but find out who is moving in and when and if they are local.

ring up new company, offer your talented services - and offer to post some info... and say you will phone again a month before they move in...

its one less thing for the facility manager to have to worry about and they very rarely go out and get 3 other quotes (even if they say they will)

arrange to meet - bring with you a sample method statement, risk assesment, insurance doc's etc.... remember when you meet you have already seen the building and probably have an idea what to quote.... so focus all your energies on helping them justify the costs....

wear a clean shirt and have a clean van... and show them

again like the other ways i've stated previously this works... and i have won jobs worth over £10k pa

any other ideas to win work?
