Pricing - How much???
« on: February 23, 2006, 02:53:38 pm »
Hi everyone.

Im just starting out  so trying to get to grips with pricing. Ive read previously that people tend to underprice when they are starting out and I want to hopefully avoid that.  Can you let me know what you think?

2-3 bed house  - £10
3 bed with 3 storey - £13
4 bed to storey - £14
Executive house (5 bed  - £15
All prices above include sills and frames and PVC doors

I need some help with conservatories. How much for an average size roof and an average size sides??

Thanks in advance

do you use wfp?
i charge £35.00 to £50.00 for a conservatory roof depending on size and how dirty it is using wfp and usually takes about an hour. i even use their tap if the roof isnt glass as you dont need the pure water to get the finish.
some i get the pressure wash out for  if they're really green with algae but then your talking £80.00+

Thanks Gensis

Sorry, should have mentioned that I am using wfp. I have an ionics reach n wash pro 5.
£35 - £50?? Wow, thats good money! Good tip about using their water supply if the roof isn't glass!
What do you think of the house prices?

Cheers mate

we charge a little bit more for our houses.
a 3 storey would start at around £15.00 +. 4 beds around £16.00 upwards depending on the amount of glasshope this helps, and sorry i didnt reply sooner but my in-laws are staying and theyve hijacked my office so i cant get to my pc!!

Cheers mate

Since I last logged on I decided to price as follows..

Ground floor windows - .75p each
Ist floor - £1 each
2nd Floor - £1.25 each.

It seems to average out as about £15 perhouse in my estate which consists of 3-5 bed houses.
Currently I am spending about an hour per house as I am new to window cleaning and learning how to use and control the wfp system and also taking my time doing the frames and glass to make sure it is spot free! (saying that, it still has some spots!!)

Hi i charge £35.00 up wards for a conservatory 12ft x 12ft
If it's hard to get to all the sides i charge more,it's up to you 8)
I have aproached a conservatory agent and they may want me to clean all there new conservatories as they put them up.
They have said they will pay £80.00 inside and out. sounds allright to me butlike you i'm new so i make it up as i go along ;D
Also i have a person who sales and fits blinds that gives my flyer out to his customers,it seems to work well.As he fits ots of blinds in conservatories.
