Backpack problem solved. You are blocking the pavement. Tut tut. Big trouble if someone has to go round the van & gets hit while on the road.

I would say a rubber mat over the hose on the top picture with maybe a sign.

The second picture is technically a private road and the pavement is just for the cottage it is outside (We lived in the cottage about 15 years ago) The hose does cross the road! Tut tut

The third picture is interesting. The pavement finishes where the van is and it is never used by pedestrians. Most usete other side and the remainder use the road. It is a dead end for cars but well used pedestrian route.

Not especially. I wanted compare what I do regularly with best practice. There's a couple of things brought out that I don't do and comply with. I want to debate and compare.

Backpacks and trolleys have their own lifting issues so want to work out best practice and photo that next time around.

2nd picture, the hose near the cone nearest the enterance too the garden is lifting slightly causing a tripping hazard.

Simple solution too them all. use a trolley on those 3 properties.
