Short answer: No.Long answer:Pressure will only have any effect on when the pump shuts off. 150 psi is quite high, if you have metal hose ends you may find it difficult to reconnect your pole at 150 psi. What you need to look at is l/min. Your 100psi pump is probably 7.5lpm. What exactly do you want to do? If it is for a pressure washer for example I'd be looking for a completely different type of pump.http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/positive-displacement-pumps/7059355/Only about 60psi but twice the flow rate (not sure if that's enough though?).
i want a pump that pumps water fast, so we can clean quicker.
Is it possible to get hold of pumps that run at more than 100psi? Looking to get hold of something that produces more than the usual flow rate.
I would have thought that would give you loads of water!
Currently use 6mm hose. Might up grade that to 8 with the new van.
