Yeah not problem at all. Just open a few windows, don't point the exhaust of the machine near a computer etc.

Make sure you plug in circuit breakers!

Is it carpet tile? low profile? make sure you use a lot of dry strokes and use air movers to speed up the drying times.

Check to see if the heating and aircon can be on at the time you are working if it has it. A lot of places don't run it when staff aren't there for cost saving.

Some buildings don't have windows that open and it turns into a greenhouse.

Maybe I'm just rubbish at LM but I think HWE gives a superior clean on carpet tiles etc. I have used LM first then followed up with HWE and the difference has been quite noticeable. The speed difference is also quite noticeable though.

Unless you are pressure washing the surface moisture shouldn't be a problem with computers etc..

LM isnt suitable in every case depending on the level of soiling.

What did you use for the LM work last time Robin?

Should you need to extract the carpet then it is always a good idea to follow up with a rotary and bonnet pads to dry off and remove any soil that has wicked up.

Carpet tile construction doesnt allow good airflow resulting in more moisture being left behind than on a broadloom. I have found that the WonderWand is better at recovery for this type of work (on a portable) and also using a product that encapsulates as your final rinse helps considerably to reduce the risk of wicking.

It was just carpet tile in an old peoples club and I used pure clean. I wasn't happy with the results even after extracting  so I ended up using Power burst on the rest agitating in with the rotary and extracting then finishing up with a post bonnet they were impressed with the result and it dried very quickly. I will try LM next time but I think it needed a l good deep clean

Yes it will on a smallish office to stay productive.

A 17" rotary is ideal for areas of 50m2+
