Yes ws202 - do you have a gearbox ?

As carl said, pumps are the same revs etc.. gearbox is needed but from memory the gearbox for a ws201 & ws202 are the same.

this is the same as my machine, yes it does have a gear box.

What   pump is it? . The gearboxes are only compatible with similar brands. The unloader ( depending on type) would also need changing. You can phone them here for info on the pump.

That looks like an interpump gearbox. just make sure the shafts are the same. most 201/202 have a 1 inch straight shaft. i think there are only two variants of the gearbox too so you should be safe.

That machine is a nilfisk poisiedn, and if it's the 13 hp then it does 19.2 lpm @ 230 bar anyway, is it worth changing for 21 at 200 bar? for the sake of 1.8lpm and you lose 50 bar.... That machine is probably better than a 21 lpm @ 200 bar for cleaning

it is 13hp 230 bar
found tech data for this machine on the internet and you are right it's 19.2 lpm i thought it was 15lpm,
shall not bother changing pump now i know that, just needs a new uploader valve.

p.s, make sure you got a .55 or maybe 6 jet in to get the max flow / pressure

im using the right nozzles lee the problem i have is the pressure when i use the FSC the pressure gauge shows 150 bar,
when using turbo it shows about 195 bar, i have checked the valves & seals they seem fine, there does not appear to be any suction of air
from any where, so i have taken the unloader valve off to check it over.

i brought the machine second hand a couple of years ago & just assumed it was 15lpm as it came with no manual.

2 thinbgs to do.. check and change your nozzles on your whirlaway... 2 x 03, (they may have worn, so change anyway)
 then make sure your unloader isnt unloading when on full throttle
finally make sure your turbo is a .55 or maybe 06,
you must have the wrong nozzle in somewhere which would explain the diffence in pressures....
or...
worst case scenario....
your whirlaway is f@@ked, check to make sure it's not leaking underneath out the head or centre, that could be the reason for drop in pressure....
hope it's just the nozzles though

Sorry to jump in on this but I have a relevant Q and reading kennys response above.

Been really stuggling with my Whirlaway recently to the point where I have just been using the turbo nozzle. Turbo nozzle shows just around 3100 psi and Whirlaway refuses to hit 2000. Runs around 1800psi and sometimes drops
To 1500 at the end of a long day and after reading your above post mentioning it, it does leak a very small amount of water from the actual main fitting in the center underneith. You think this could be the cause?

It's very likely mate, infact it's either that or your nozzles.
what size nozzles do you have in? what machine do you have? and what size nozzle is in your turbo?....
As with all pressure washers.... it's the nozzle that creates the pressure... too big a nozzle and the pressure drops, too small and the pressure goes up (untill the point of unload) and reduces flow... and also flow = power

My turbo nozzle is a '45' and on the Whirlaway there are a pair of '02's. the Whirlaway nozzles were changed only a month ago to try and solve the pressure drop
Problem.
Also the  spining arm bit that goes up through the centre of the the head has a lot of play in from left to right. It's maybe looking like a new head assembly then

Before you spend a small fortune buying a new swivel try and replace the seals and the small valve/valve seat inside the swivel. Centurywise do a full service kit for about £30 from memory. its a fiddley pain in the arse job but its doable.
