I'm looking to buy another hose reel and hose for second user but am toying with getting microbore as I already use minibore, what do people use and would microbore use less water throughout the day as its smaller so more pressure but on lower setting?

Don't know about using less water as IMO you need a good flow of water whatever you use. But I would recommend microbore as it is lighter and smaller diameter.
One job I do is luxurious retirement apartments and the building is so long that I have to put 150m on a reel as otherwise I could not reach the windows. Don't think I could get 150m of minibore on a reel!!
