I currently run a ninja but would like to upgrade within the next few months. I like the look of the Storm it looks really well put together and ideal for use as a truckmount porty as all the controls etc are on the front. The enforcer however also looks well put together and has some nice features like the auto fill lid design and built in heat. The big debate about the power worries me, as it seems the storm should be more powerful yet previous 6.6 vac machine owners are moving over to the enforcer which has the in series design. Having only owned a ninja and a Sabrina I don't know what the difference will really be like. Any experience is appreciated.

I think you cant go wrong with either  ,  if it comes down purely to which is more powerful no one will tell you for sure because we don't know the exact model Electro motors used in the Enforcer , if we did we could add up the airwatts and compare .
But even then you have to consider the whole series vs parallel thing  , a high airflow number might be impressive but when the wand is stuck in a moist restrictive carpet the air aint flowing ... so perhaps the high suction under restriction is more beneficial then ... lots written on the subject , best of luck drawing a conclusion .
For me , i like both , i think the immersion heater in the Enforcer would be a strong + especially combined with an external inline  .

Hi robin, I am also looking into a new machine later in the year, having read all the posts on here regarding the machines it all comes down to trying them both out to see which you prefer in person.

However I see you are miles away from both manufactures in Devon- same here !!

I cleaned a suit the other day using my Enforcer... My MPower prespray was applied quite heavy as i find it works better like this... when it came  to extraction i used 50' of 2" hose down to a 8' 1.5" whip and finally to my CFR tool...

i would have to say that the suction from the machines twin 5.7 motors "in series" is amazing... it seems to keep sucking and pulling loads more than i can remember any "parallel" machine did.
once the fabric was extracted it was dry in around 1 hour...
At 100' the enforcer performs just as well as any top line 6.6 machine.

I think I'm moving more towards the enforcer now, its a shame the ports and controls are on different sides though. not a good for truck mounting.

But i think it is fair to say that i am not the only one who had problems with  Ashby's customer service, and they have a less than admirable reputation.
As they say you can please all the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, i dare say that even John at Restoremate must have upset someone at some time and i have found him to be at the very top regarding service and integrity. From my own experience Cleansmart and Ashbys are polar opposites

Hi Rob... van mounting most of the time is a pain in the bum.. takes me seconds to slide the machine off the van and wheel it closer to where i m working... save space and weight on the van by not carrying extra water, extension cables and hoses.
The 52 litre solution tank holds enough water to clean a lounge, stairs, landing and hall when at around 200 psi.
The jag was a good machine for van mounting if thats what you really want to do...

Robin how many people have experienced both machines ? only seen them alongside each other on the two utube videos with very different results, no surprise which i believe but in the field experience of both must be rare.

If you opt for the auto empty you should have control of the vacs and heater via remote if van mounted .

I'm leaning towards the Enforcer as my next machine. I had 3 trouble-free years with my Ninja, and although my Airflex Turbo has been good as gold for the last 3 years I want to go back to a built in heater.

I can't comment on Ashbys service as I never had cause to go back to them once after I actually collected the machine.

Cleansmart have given me good service and I was going to go for the Storm next but the Enforcer looks bloody good for the price.

Those test videos on Youtube are useless to most of us... what really matters is at the end of that wand 100' away from the machine!
John is correct... adding the remote control and auto dump kit will allow control over both motors and the pump... once you turn off the motors the waste tank will automatically drain... not just the dirty water, but all the crud, foam and lint... something a regular electric pump out cant do  
The Enforcer may look like Darth Vaders wheely bin... but hey...  my customers are really impressed when the see it !

I hadn't thought of the remote that's a good point. As for water I have a 500l water tank in the van for my window cleaning system so that's no problem. I have put a float valve in the ninja and use it all the time as a auto fill. I have 100m of 6mm hose on board so can auto fill up to 100m away from the van.

If you have the Ninja already cant you just replace the vac motors with the Enforcer ones or are they not the same configuration?

There is a lot more to it than that.. the solution and waste tanks are larger on the Enforcer, The electrical motor delay circuit, internal larger 2" hoses...
You could just replace the motors with the Electro ones but im not sure you would benefit a great deal... better off trading the Ninja in?

You could modify the Ninja but ...
I think its the sum of several small design details that make the Enforcer more desirable  ,  the easy loading system , rainproof , recessed switches , remote auto empty , auto fill lid ,  2" plumbing , capacity ,    improvement to build quality and appearance .

 The Ninja has kinda been replaced in the states with the ninja warrior  , but i think Ashby's did a better job with the enforcer .

I asked the question previously and for quite some time just could not decide on which one to go for. I have also been running the Ninja, so was going to retire it as a backup.  A few weeks ago i made my decision, and i have to say that what i went for has seriously impressed me. I went for the enforcer. It is quite simply awesome. In trying to decide i actually did a head to head of spec and features on a spreadsheet and the final score was 11-11. What swung it was all the features, but particularly that its usable on 1 powerlead. The tank heater which ive always liked on the Ninja, and the built in steam mate which is incredible. The revamped series Vacuum system which was one of my main points of concern, is better than the Ninja. The waste tank is shaped perfectly to vent everything out without having to lift the machine up, like you have to do with the Ninja to get the last quarter-half a bucket out. The autodrain is brilliant and the good thing is you will be able to use it on your ninja too. The auto fill is simple and reliable, did an all day job last week that i used it on, and unlike some who feel you cant trust the auto fill mechanisms and leave them(especially inside) i felt i could, and did. Finally i think the machine looks better than any other portable, i know some say it looks like a bin, but then you could say that from front the Storm looks like a pregnant woman with nothing around her midrift.
