Website queries
« on: March 21, 2013, 06:57:47 am »
People who contact me via the web seem to be totally price orientated. They ask for a costing and rarely leave a phone number I reply with a rough price and never hear from them again. Is that the same for others out there?

More or less unless you are really cheap, don't put a submission page on to combat it.

Seems to be the way with mine as well. I will sometimes explain that I need to visit and do a full quotation if they are looking for a lot of work to be done, but if it's just one room, then my minimum price usually scares them off.
If there isn't enough time to do the job right,  how do we find the time to go back and do it again when the customer is not happy ?   Do it right the 1st Time.

The annon. emails saying how much for xyz. I just send a email back saying give me your number. Another good one is to say from £10.

It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
