i have a job to remove sign writing on glass, on a shop thats not used at the moment and has no electic. What the best way, is it very hot water soap it up and scrapper?

yes hot water to soften it up then peal off then scrapper for any adhesive left.

nice thanks thought that was right just didnt want to make hard work for my self, as there is loads of it

i would use a carbon steel blade fresh out the packet

people use Heat guns and hair dryers taking off vans etc don't know if same would apply on glass

i would find another customer 

or use some spirit wipe from a car bodyshop if i really had to do the job ... heat on glass hmmmm if it was me it would crack

I used a hairdryer to take it of my van with no probs.

Make sure there is not a stuck on tint on the glass. I scraped some trade labels off some new windows on a oak framed conservatory. Wasn't till I bladed off the inside I could see I had scratched the tint. Expensive mistake to make
