I've cleaned a lot of roofs with 15 LPM, I now clean a lot quicker with the bigger machines. I don't use chemicals. The work I do I need to get up there, get the roof clean and get onto the next one.

If it is as an add on and for infrequent use 15LPM, petrol or diesel (diesel cheaper to run) will be adequate.

Chris - I am surprised he hasn't been on yet!has got one for sale with an A&R pump (great pump - i've got one on a Hilta Yanmar machine).

Can't vouch for the machine but it is for sale on here for £500.00.

I've got a couple of spare machines that are available, all just been serviced and all parts required were replaced. Had them from the start but always serviced and looked after, new battery leads.

I've got one direct drive and two gearbox - Hilta Yanmar 15LPM but I am giving someone else first refusal on one of them

To do the job right you should really apply a "moss killer" after pressure washing. This will kill off any spores,root system etc.

I cleaned a store roof at Cobham, big job, very visible from the main road that runs alongside it.

Went past it three years later - still clean - moss killer is not required all of the time!

Rob how did you get on with check a trade?
I think it is mainly older roofs that benefit from a moss killer application they become porous as the get older...Rob you are right your "new" store roof it would not make a lot of difference.

All the store roofs we clean are generally about 20 years old, if not more.

Starting one tonight in Streatham and I have a very large roof clean to price up mid week, this one will have some superb before, during and after shots
