We managed £1.00 per litre today over the course. Two of us on the glass for 5 hours.

That's good going Matt.

I presume you opt for a fairly conservative flow rate.

 I average around 1.5 to 2 l per £ with a flow rate of 3 to 3.5 l per minute.
Do quantum mechanics fix old transits?

And let us not forget, voyeurism is an occupational hazard that we simply must endure.

I have as high a flow rate Nick as the pump will push out.

No controller.

Had a slight change of plan halfway through the day which meant not having enough water might have materialised.

To ensure we had enough we conserved our supplies by scrubbing with water off and rinsing as usual.

I reckon if you worked like that full time you could get close to £2.00 per litre. Not that I'd want to. Blooming pain.

You should be hitting £1 plus a litre standard.

Can you do this in reality......just put some water on....water off scrub then rinse?????

I guess that depends on the time/price involved as well.

For example one man may earn £250 a day from 250 litres working 8 hours and another could earn £300 from 600 litres working the same time. The latter is more profitable.

You can do it, however, I dont think its good practise nor professional. We did it to get away with going back to fill up. It meant we earnt another £50.00. and a saved trip going back to finish off the work at a later date (today).

It does also take longer that way, as you're fannying about with the tap and also takes longer to rinse off if you're trying to achieve the same result with less water.
