gardiner slx 30 pole
« on: March 11, 2013, 07:08:13 pm »
Guys, is there a decent site to buy these poles (Gardner SLX type) at a decent price...
Also, if im doing conservatories and fascia boards etc as well as windows, would i need a selection of brush heads ie stiff/soft different shapes etc etc..
Just a few ideas of what you guys use would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Steve

Gardiner pole systems is where to buy them.
As for brushes, you dont need different brushes but i think it helps,
So a mixed extreme a flocked super lite & maybe a dual trim super lite.

and heres a pic of a slx30, at full stretch, cleaning a velux window

Fantastic pole. I am considering one. Would it be suitable for an all day pole? I am sure it is lighter than my 17ft fibre glass pole with vikan brush I am using at the moment.

colin , you will be in wfp heaven.

i use the 25 slx as my everyday pole as does the majority on this forum  8)

i use a double trim flocked original brush as my first choice

but use the extreme brushes as well

you will not regret it  8) 8)

Is it meant to have that bend?

Slx 30 all day every day (apart from higher work). It even squeezes down the side of conservatories without feeling too big to handle

my new SLX 22 is my main pole now for domestics with my SLX 25 for bigger domestic and commercial and my 40 SUPERMAX for high jobs and solar panel cleaning.

these 3 poles cover all bases for my work.no chopping and adding sections and extra pole hose.i just grab the right pole for the job.im amazed at how light and compact the 22 is even compared to the 25!happy days! :D :D :D

I used to use the 30slx for everyday use but since purchasing a slx22 what a difference it reaches most of my work and makes the 30 feel big and heavy if that's possible! 22 or 25 slx for everyday

yep i agree wayne!22 SLX is fantastic for domestic work although it does come up a bit short for some of my bigger houses but i quickly swap to my 25.also some commercial i need my 25 or 40 footer.
price higher/work harder!

I have a slx30 for use but to be honest I would use a clx22 for most work as I dont like the black hands from the slx. I really dont think carbon poles need to have a finish that comes off so quick.

I've got a slx25 on order to replace a 18ft brodex, take it I'm going to notice some difference? Do hope so!
