i must of missed a post - how on earth are you achieving your targets of new custys??

600 new customers by june to fill up saturdays and to add £50 extra each day.

Feb- 29 didnt get out as much as i should have due to being ill.
March-49

Just through canvassing 3 nights a week with 2/3 canvassers. Only been getting average results each time so dont think i will hit target. this month i had a touch with a window cleaner retireing and letting me know all he's old customers.
Some choose leaflets, facebook, website etc. i just choose to knock on doors and chase the work myself.

you have a team that you employ - can you trust them to do the task - i mean how do you police canvessers do to speak?

Yes i can trust them due to i go out each time with them. I only have 1 full time who is realy good the other is my employee when he gets low on money etc he comes out too.

I have added about 12 this week.just heading out to deliver leaflets to a estate and my canvasser should be out for 2 days a week from next week onwards.
I have a target of 100 for june the 1st.then will be taking someone on.
And then target 200 more.
Also hoping to start wheelie bin cleaning by the summer.

Let me know the results of your canvass after a leaflet drop. I have never done it that way before. I see it as a waste of time leafletting but would love to be proved wrong by you on it.

I thought i had enough work for 2 vans already but due to all the guys on here saying how much they can do in a day i decided to up each day by £50-100.
yes ill stop once all canvassing is done and then spend some money on new vans(prob lease)and top of the range systems so will have minimal problems for work and my role can be to pure water and sit on my bum all day unless i need to cover sick/holiday or replace a few customers here and there. I have an office girl do all the paper work keeping all in order and sorting out wages and sending information to accountant. to get out of debt was the reason for me to have the 2nd round and it has done its deed. Now it can help me float along.
im thinking ill start a canvassing company up next year so i can help others build up to there desired level of business without ripping them off.

Yes thats a must to go out with whoever is canvassing. It stops them straying and signing up anyold crap.

Im in cleethorpes Mick on the east coast.
My canvassers starts monday so im hoping for big figures from him,hes doing 2 days a week.
Ive picked up another 3 jobs today so i will start to get my new custys count upto date.
Im in the process of setting up the wheelie bin cleaning too,
Got to ring the environment agency up tommorow,regarding getting rid of the waste water.
Targets are bench marks but im sure you have very good rounds all ready as you have 2 vans.
 Im finally taking it all serious after plodding along waiting for the work to come to me.
 I would love to have a second van by the end of the summer.
 Then im worried about finding someone i can trust to run the other van.
