ideas of value - please help
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:52:06 pm »
hi guys
please could you help me by all giving your truest verdict of what you would expect to pay for my system and van as thinking of going ionics and want to talk to them at cleaning show.

i appreciate some of you will offer me a banana i dig the humor on here lol.

but a realistic guide would be nice for my costings against new van and system.

so in the event i sell it would be for -
Peugeot Expert 2.0 ltr hdi - 125k on clock - year mot/6mths tax - very clean but odd dinks and scratches and odd chippings but at 10 yards looks very clean and bright white. - PURE FREEDOM SYSTEM IS FACTORY FITTED 450 LTR VAN MOUNT (CRASH TESTED) FULL FILTER SYSTEM 40INCH R/O 20 INCH PRE FILTERS STD SIZE RESIN CHAMBER AND WATERSOFTENER WITH SALT FLUSH CHAMBER. 2 MAN SYSTEM WITH 2 FLOW CONTROLLERS AND 2MAN PORT. COLD WATER NOT HOT. FILLS FROM EMPTY ON AVERAGE 2-3 HOURS

JUST BALL PARK GUIDE PRICE WOULD BE GOOD - your feedback would be really helpful as you know what its like planning your finances and strategies.
many thanks

i should add that i paid 3k for van 4 years ago have recently spent 1k on whole new clutch.

that it has ass roof rack.

that the van mount was 4.5k inc vat at the time but i notice you can get prob near same system from pure freedom now 3.5k approx plus vat.

the sale price wouldnt have vat to go on it.

so i kinda hope that it would be around 3-4k for whole lot

For 4.5 k you can get 650 pure freedom hot system,

The the whole thing is worth around 3k maybe 3.5k

You spending 1k on clutch woulnt really make it worth any more but might help it sell

hi steve yeah im seriously thinking of a hot water pure freedom or ionics system thiers logic behind spending the money and a larger van as i want to house driveway clean kit and carpet clean and gutter vac machine. probably a 600ltr system to allow for rest of kit. maybe a mwb van rather than swb - going to clean show to suss out. and seeing biz manager b4 hand to look at the financial options.

All sounds very expensive.!?
As for the hot water unit, personally i wouldnt spend 3k, or what ever they cost, on a hot system they dont make that much difference.
Ive been using the lpg heaters for nearly 5 yrs, handy piece of kit & nice to use everyday but i wouldnt spend thousands to get it.
