Time off - What do you do?
« on: March 07, 2013, 08:59:26 pm »
Following on from Richy's "burnt out" thread, wondered what you lot do for rest and relaxation?

I play football twice a week, and enjoy weekends away with my family. Don't get away often enough, so looking at getting something to force us out and away, like a T5 camper, or a holiday home somewhere.

So whats your thing?

Hill walking. Fair weather cycling. Occasionally visit heritage railways, museums, airshows.
It's a game of three halves!

Gym after work every day. Play football 3 times a week. Fishing in the summer. Out on the lash most weekends. Chill out watching football week nights. On here for a spot of window cleaning talk.

Easy life  ;D

Weekends with the family and photography.

Finding a healthy work / family life balance is crucial to a happy healthy life IMO.

I'll also be having a 2 week and 1 week Mediterranean holiday again this year.

Play my guitars -  multi-track ideas as they come to a 12 track Digital Recorder - build them up layer by layer - then mix them down to a master track and burn to a CD - listen to it - decide I could do it better and start all over again ;D ;D

I go snowboarding 3 - 4 times a week, mountain bike, mainly at Llandegla, carp fishing.

Very close to buying a new bmw tourer (bike) so will be spending a lot of sunny days on that this year  :)

I love getting high on a sense of wellbeing from days of raw food and recumbent triking.

And I really dig trying to increasing my power to weight ratio through researching and the application of weight training and nutrition.
