Office cleaning services. Stevenage Borough Council, East Hertfordshire
District Council and North Herts District Council are jointly looking for
a company / organisation to provide cleaning services, working to an
output specification for a variety of assets (including office buildings,
community buildings and car parks) which are owned and / or occupied by
one of the three Councils. All assets are based in Hertfordshire. There is
potential within the contract for the Councils to add / remove assets from
their respective asset list during the term however at the time of this
notice the number of assets are as follows: East Hertfordshire District
Council = 3 x Office Buildings, North Hertfordshire District Council = 2 x
Office Buildings, 2 x Car Parks, 2 x Museums (moving to 1 x museum from
2014), 2 x Community Halls, 1 x Museum Resource Centre, Stevenage Borough
Council = 3 x Office Buildings, 1 x Museum, 1 x Lift (at Railway Station),
3 x Children/Play Centres.

Stevenage Borough Council, East Herts District Council and North Herts
District Council are jointly procuring and will select a single supplier
based on the award criteria identified in the tender documents. Each
Council will sign its own contract with the successful tenderer and shall
manage its own contract during the term. The contracts shall be for a
period of 5 years (with a break clause option from the anniversary of the
third year and an option to extend for up to a further 24 months). The
contracts are envisaged to commence from 1 October 2013. The estimated
total value across the contracts for the 5 years plus up to 24 month
