Quote from: sham33 on March 05, 2013, 10:05:27 pmI really am going to start canvassing again. Whats your opening line when they open the door?My opening line is normal but the 2nd is quite naughty but it works..i say the normal hi do you use a window cleaner etc etc.. for every one who says no i say great my friend was made redundant and started a window cleaning round and we are out gaining him customers so he doesnt have to go down the signing on the dole route. It works a treat and isnt a lie as the lad who does that round for me was made redundant before he was with me.I get michelle saying she is helping her uncle get more customers for he's round which is simple and to the point and customers warm to her being female especialy the old girls. The way i get £10 fronts so easy is i say ill do there gutters free once a year if needed which is another reason i target main roads as the gutters stay clean and never get blocked from leaves etc and as of yet in 3 years havnt had any requests to do the gutters so has gone in my favour risking doing gutters for free.Just a little thinking out of the box goes a long way.

If it is . I'm right behind you mick lol. I know his patch !!
Not as good tonight only 22 (£245 4 weekly value)but did get all of his customers i knocked on (14 of them tonight)from the roads we did by saying i have taken over from richard but still well happy with the result. Too many first cleans to do over the next 2 saturdays now so not doing anymore untill mid next week.Yes its my patch now gypo mick lol...stay off or ill set my daags on you!!
2 of us tonight in the freezing cold, we got 15 in 2 hours but didnt knock many of he's old customers so wasnt that bad at all considering a lot didnt open there doors. All were £10 front and sides.i got 9 and michelle got 6 so £150 extra a month costing me just £30.
No just for new customers i pay. Never canvassing time unless they are on there first few days while learning. Pay between £5 and £10 per lead and after all the dropouts and 1 off brigade customers you will be quids in or better still have canvasser replace any dropouts they get, i dont get them to replace as even if half drop out im still quids in. Happy growing and i hope to hear your canvass success story soon.
