if somebody was to do it properley they would make a lot of money I thinks.

however problems arise I think when the window cleaners requirements are not qualified by the canvasser initially.

eg... what areas to get customers in
pricing
type of houses

etc etc etc

then the cancellation scernario kicks in .......... 1 day I may set summit up as enjoy canvassing when Im in the mood for it but would tell any prospective client that any cancellations will be offset by both late callers from leaflets posted and recomendations from customers I had found.

1-1.5 cleans is fair to pay a canvasser with 1 clean guarantee. Any more then the canvasser will be laughing at you behind your backs knowing he will be legally mugging you for your money as a big chunk of the canvassed work will not last more than 4 cleans fact!!. Have it as your terms and never a canvassers, remember they are the desperate ones trying to find willing people to canvass for..your paying there wages...

No i wouldnt pay 1-1.5 cleans id pay £5 per customer and no more.
Fact is canvassers canvassing for others doing it as there business will sign up any old crap and charge 2 cleans plus for it. Name a respectable canvassing company who have been going more than a year by keeping there promises and not letting people down???.
If buying established work then happy days id pay upto 4 cleans for it but for canvassed work no chance as its mostly poo unless you do it for yourself so can pick and choose roads and areas. So who's the mug you say?? well it defo isnt me my friend. I wouldnt get 1k canvassed and payout 2k for it to find 50 percent will dropout after the 2-4th clean meaning the canvassed work would end up costing 4/5 cleans in the long run...no way pedro!.
My point being that all so called canvassing companies are chancers waiting for there willing victims. Maybe my view is ott but it was how i felt about people when i canvassed for them so personal experiance saying how it is.

Find someone who has door sales experience, this way you tell them what you and where you want otherwise you will get terrible work at silly rates.
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.
