Hector,
No he is not.
He now has the opportunity to set himself apart from ALL of his competitors, LM or HWSE, by offering a higher specification clean that could encompass both systems, dry vac, pre-spray, agitate, HWSE followed by dry padding. This isn't about technicalities, it's about marketing and producing results that have your customer believe that they can't get what you do anywhere else, do that and you'll have customers coming back to you.

Hector, why don't you get rid of your rotary and then you would be even more unique.  ;D (modifying absolutes)
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

A pile brush is fine but is hard work, by the time you have done a 4 bed house you will know it.

Which can only be a good thing lol got a bit of a beer belly i need to shake off  ;D

Used one for 20 years and still overweight so forget that theory.  ;D

working on it mate.... but the more I want to retire from the cleaning, the more people want me to do it... I keep getting calls for work from existing customers and their friends...

I am in the middle of setting up workshops to teach people self hypnosis, and just can't get the time to finish writing the course..

Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(

Hi Phil

I have a carpet brush, a grandi-groomer and a prochem upholstry tool with hose which I would be happy to sell. I brought all of them second hand and havent used them so they are just taking up room on the van.

If you want more info then let me know your email address and I will send you some photos.

Thanks
Greg

Sometimes its just the best result, whatever you do or try. Did you do a towel test?

That sounds excellent Hector. Think of all these people who could be benefiting from that NOW. Get on with it!

surely if he does all that it will take him a lot longer so he will have to charge more ?

So what, he's got time on his hands anyway. The important thing is that he will be building a customer based on quality, people that will come back. And anyway, he should charge more for it.

Phil, next time instead of the Dry Fusion Brush, try using a white floor polishing pad. These tend to work better on the surface area than a brush, you may be surprised with the result.
