Description of the contract:
The specified Primary School is seeking tenders from experienced providers of
school cleaning to provide a cost effective cleaning service that will provide a
clean, hygienic and safe learning environment.
At Croft Primary School cleaning currently takes place between the hours of 3pm
and 6pm Monday to Friday during term times, by two staff. Further cleaning may
be required on request by the school during school holidays on an hourly basis.
The cleaning
will be carried out in all areas of the school including toilets and the
kitchen/dining area. The Provider will provide all cleaning materials and
equipment necessary to fulfil the requirements of the contract.
It is likely that TUPE regulations will apply in any transfer of contract from
the current provider Warrington Borough Council), tenderers must make themselves
aware of the obligations to comply with TUPE. Details of staff currently
providing the service
will be provided shortly via the Chest. The School will be able to take
visits from tenderers on Wednesday 27th February at 3.30pm. To book a visit
