i take into consideration, travel, time to clean, and overheads, never per panel.

I have my hourly rate plus travel.

i always ask the customer, age of connie, when last cleaned etc, if im not sure myself, and cant visit, i get them to mail some pics.
Also Steve, this wasnt just the  roof, it was full external, i always push for a full clean, i cant remember the last time i just did the roof.

Ok. You have more experience than me and are probably better able to be accurate. I just price at £5 per panel. I don't factor in travel as almost always they are for existing customers and I do the job when I clean the windows. I normally clean all UPVC as part of the job, but only with brush and G101.

seriously that job would take me no longer than 90 mins to clean tops.

virosol in a 5 L PRESSURE SPRAYER then wfp on customers outside tap if available.

£80 (no gutter clearing though).

i would clean the windows and frames on conny as a matter of course.no cif or doktor power, maybe a bit of virosol though on the minging frames.

if the job was a bit out of my way then £95

no ladders unless bad access on the other side of conny.

i put these pics and post up so that ppl can use them, not so that ppl can "do it quicker or better"

Ive been cleaning connies and upvc for 10 yrs, so i do know how to clean, quote and when a ladder is needed or not. In other words, i know what im doing!!

Im not really bothered how cheap anyone else will do it. Im in business to make money, have never been or ever will be a busy fool.

Well said mick. If someone can do it 30/45/60 minutes quicker it just means that they are not offering the standard of clean. Applying a cream cleaner takes time but does give a better finish. Looks like a nice job.

im just saying what i would do to get the conny up to scratch.

unlike you mick i dont go looking for conny roofs to clean or leaflet in 1000s like you.you do a good job and charge a good price.

we each run our businesses differently.i wasnt having a pop mate!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

my work consists of mainly maintenance window cleaning with conny roof cleaning, fascias, soffits, outside gutters and solar panel cleaning as add ons if asked.

best wishes

Nor was I. I don't aim for the same standard you do. I clean everything, but I couldn't be doing with your level of detail.

No steve, not at all,

This used to be a great forum, full of ppl with experience and knowledge, unfortunately they left when ppl just wanted to argue and p*ss ppl off.

Its a shame

Then you certainly know more than me and that's why I appreciate coming to this forum to learn from posters such as yourself.

I used the same product for the roof as always.....tap water!!

If anyone's interested, Boshravie is now selling this at only £9.99 for 500ml.

Sorry, Dani J, I'm only joking  :).

Most are designed to be put on with a dry cloth, then polished after. I use a wet sponge, still brings it up like new!!

When doing smaller areas like frames and sills, apply dry then polish after. dont put on the brush tho.

You will find its always just surface dirt, so make sure you have the lightest pole and brush, and literally, wipe it off. i did one today, the finials were a pain, just had to adjust the angle of the brush head to get the muck out of the crevices.
