Hi beefy I'm also getting a backpack proberly next week I've chosen the shurflo from williamson pumps, It can be bought cheaper on ebay and shipped over I'd rather deal with a local company though, I have details from williamson in an email with pics and other specs and the price, the attachments do need to be downloaded in pdf form though, either inquire with them or let me know and i'll forward the email to you.

Andrew I live close to williamsons and could have a shurflo for about £205  I've found one of your posts quoting around about £175 are yours still around the same price ?

A window cleaner local to me bought one recently and he paid £160 in total (postage and packing).

They seem to be robust bits of kit.  I must've been using mine for around six months now; on a daily basis and it's had some stick; and it's still going strong.

You don't need a spare battery; apparantly one charge will pump 420 litres, which is more than double what you'll probably use.

If you buy them from Williamson Pumps expect to pay £215 in total.

The warranty is valid, even though it's original purpose is for a crop spraying device; and I've got this information from the horses mouth.

Also, don't let this put you off.  It's a class bit of kit.

Backpacks are Ace.

Just give some thought on how you want to attach your poles to it. I use Microbore high pressure connections, They dont leak and i like useing the trigger handle that comes with the back pack because it is built to withstand 100psi pressure, so it does not leak. I have put a couple of pics below to show you how I did it.
