anyone got one of these brushes? could they be used to scrub right into the skirting boards to remove filtration marks without me getting on my knees. the handle spins rounds so it runs laterally.

do the bristles go to a point?

I used one sometime ago it still doesn't get there enough I find that a towel is still better.

Your gonna have to make your own in that case as there is not a lot about on a pole, they tend to be too big or too hard.

Perhaps by wrapping a terry towel around the brush it may work.

Did a regular customer today,16th century house,open fire downstairs,on the landing I ended up taking the carpet (white man made fibre) off the grip rails,as when I started extracting near the edge with the hand tool it puled a load of black muck up,didn't help that there was a huge gap between the carpet and the wall,with no skirting board.
Tried the towel with some pog on it,but no difference.

So you give a quote over the phone and arrive to clean and theres bad filtration marking around the whole room.

What do you do?

Explain what it is, do a demo, charge more?
Just clean them at no extra charge?

Or other?

It can really add time to a job cleaning filtration marks?

Also whats your prefered chems these days.

just to let you know you they arrives today and they seem to be brilliant!!  they scrub in to the skirting board excellently the bristle come to a point so they get right in, just scrubbed around my house and they work great, my pile is quite long so they need a bit of elbow grease. I can't wait to find some filtration marks to give them a thorough test.

what is not clear is the are only about 12inches long.

We had never thought of these being used for this as we sell them as grout brushes. However some customers have told is they do use them for edging and filtration lines.
Nearly half the price and come with a handle.
