Fin. I've got a 61 Trafic too.
Don't listen to the haters.
I'm on my 2nd Trafic. Last one was absolutely perfect up to 90k.
This one is 14k in and sweet so far.
Treat her well, she'll serve you well.

Your lucky mate, we do look after our vans regular dealer servicing, how do you service a ECU unit? we have had three fitted in the last two years.
The last straw was the van now has trouble starting, and Renault cant find the fault. Once it starts its fine and now the garage have changed yet another unit.
Still it only got to last for a few days. System is being removed today.

I bet its not the ECU.
Renault couldn't find fault on my last one at 92k but a mate did.
It was a ball bearing chase had shattered and the bits were in the turbo lines.
It had punctured a tiny hole in the fuel hose.
A small amount of fuel stays in the line so you can spark up in the morning but when it's cold the pipes forced that tiny bit of fuel out of the hose-therefore not able to start when it's cold. Fine in summer as the pipes are warmer and 'keep' the fuel.

How the BB went-I don't know.
It would have cos more than economically viable to replace-especially as I was due a van within a year.

Stumped the main dealers and AA and cost me a small fortune in wasted labour.

However-absolutely perfect upto 90k.
