Dynamall
« on: February 17, 2013, 08:58:53 pm »
I was thinking of getting some Dynamall from Restormate, just to give it a go against HWE on a job next weekend. But, including VAT & delivery, it's over £43 for 4 litres.

Now that seems like a fair bit- so is it worth it?

Hmmmm

Encap products are more expensive than HWE products.

Basically you pay a little more for the materials but more than re-coup that on the productivity.

I went out with a contract cleaning company today. They had 2500m2 to clean. Empty, cleanish office space. Took 2 people with Cimex CR48s 3.5 hours.

No pre-vac as they had their in-staff do it prior to arrival and a little pre-spotting.

The total material cost was £58.00 so 2p/m2 or £16.50/hour

I dont know what they charged but at 25p/m2 its still £567 before wages.

I didnt charge for my time as it was a demo.

I know the operator (sub contractor) is paid 30% of whatever is being invoiced and the manager is salaried and effectively not paid for the overtime.

So that would make the company £409.50 for that mornings shift or £117 per hour assuming they only charged 25p/m2.

Basically what I am trying to say is that if you are using it on a commercial and you think £43 is expensive you aint charging anything like the rate you should be.

2500 m2 that's approx 350 metres covered per hour per machine.

Yeah thats right.

Wish I had taken the demo Orbot.

It would have managed double that on this one.

Ive tried Dynamal and thought it was ok, but ive used better and cheaper encap products!Chemspec Rotabrite for one! Surround another ok the Dynamall smells good but is Expensive, I personaly dont think its going to be a big seller, But JK is the best person to ask as he sells them all and as he said in one of his recent posts, you can bonnet clean with formula 90 powder as its an encap! Bet it cleans better than Dynamall
