Russ
is the Enforser a tripple vac machine ?

No Stu it uses two Electro 5.7 motors in series.
Designed so both motors and the pump can all run off one 13 amp plug

Getting back to thread...

What are you looking for from your portable?

The most powerful?
The most capacity?
The lightest?
Easiest to repair?
Customer service?
Hottest?
Smallest?
Quietest?

Are you running from the van?

Shaun
yes I am running from my van and looking for most of the above! Thanks. Bjarne

If its in the van it doesn't have to be light, if its heat you are after you'll need at least 2 cords.

Hi Russ

You missed the other good thing about the machine, its the power cords which plug into the rear of the machine..A nice finishing touch.

If i were to run my machine from my van i could do it with just the one cord, this would run the vacs and pump, i would only need to run a second one for the in tank heater (if i want  to pre heat the water going to the V2)

25' of vac and solution hose to the front door connected to the V2, this then heats the warm water to a steady high temperature and then a further 25' to the wand.
Tried this the other day and it worked a treat.

You are right Rich, once both cords are wrapped up you simply push the plugs into storage sockets on the back of the machine.

That way would work better for me when i do my block work..Because one of the blocks

only have one plug there which is a pain running my machine at the moment.

Do you find its as powerfull as the Jag ? Ive run two 5.7 motors for years in series in the ninjas and they couldnt match the Scorpion! I noticed a masive difference when I got my Scorpion in terms of much cleaner and drier carpets and even more so when i took delivery of the Jag, the only thing missing was the Heat

There are other powerfull motors other than the 6.6  ...

Compare the Airwatt figure for the 5.7 used in the Enforcer to the airwatt figure for the 6.6 motor here ...

 http://dev.ametekfsm.com/Bulletins/122235-00.pdf

http://www2.cobbcarpet.com/zen/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4762

You can see the electro threestage produces the exact same power (Airwatts) as the 6.6 .

CFM has been the selling point for 6.6 machine  ....   but do you ever hear waterlift mentioned ,  as little as possible ...  because its not that impressive in parallel with the two stage 6.6  .
130" total system lift for the parallel 6.6 machines ...  and if you search posts by Jan Sullins on cleantalk he states that he struggled to get 120" in testing .

Quoting a high CFM figure of a machine without mentioning lift is a bit like quoting BHP without showing torque in determining a cars performance ...  it wont tell you the whole story .

What ever happened to the 8.4 motor? I'm quite surprised that a single motored machine hasn't been made.

The 8.4 is still the king power wise ...

About 700airwatts .

There are a few custom builds in the states using them .

Problem is the cost  ...   almost twice the price of the 600+ airwatt motors for about 60 airwatts gain per motor ..

http://www.applegate.co.uk/listings/stock/tizaro/ametek-lamb-vac-motor/12217818-2528096.html

Although i think some used to pay up to that for to replace 7.2s from dealers here , which was just crazy .

Could an extractor be made with 2 x 8.4 motors but without loads of cables?

You have the option to have a combination of 5.7 and a 7.2 in the Enforcer.
Apparently there is little to no gain in performance using the 7.2 motor compared to the second 5.7.
Consider the price of a replacement 5.7 against the 7.2 and the choice is simple...

Yes ...  the 8.4 actually draws about 1 amp less than the 6.6 or high powered 5.7 three stage ..

so about 6.5 amps each in use ... a 400 psi pump is only about 1 - 2 amps

So that would make a nice one cord machine .

This is a pic of a homebrew ETM using two 8.4 and two electros  ...  bit crude inside although he did finish the front well  ...  not sure about the name  !

The beauty of the Ninja and Enforcer is that
you only ever need to run one power cord.
When I set up it's machine off fill up and leave
with heater on.
Pre spray, agitate and set up and by that time
the water is at full temperature.
Switch off heater and get to work and every time
I stop it's machine off and heater on, to be honest
though it loses so little heat over the course of say
30 minutes it's negligible.
Then again it's got a solution tank lid... ;D
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Agreed... its about getting the correct method and timing right!
Did a job the other day and it warranted using my hydroforce, the heated fresh water in the  solution tank was enough to supply the in line sprayer which saved me time.
A full 40 litres of cold water takes a good 35 mins to warm up

When Derek first appeared on here I thought he was an absolute plonker with a very big mouth and a real pain. However, he went on to take every course available to increase his knowledge and with good effective marketing built a strong business where value for money is paramount
He has won over a fair few of the people on here many of whom are of high regard in terms of the businesses they run and their knowledge.
Paul Moss has won the respect and admiration of many through proving his abilities in the industry and being an accomplished communicator.
I don't actually know who else is involved but from the little information gleaned from this forum there appears to be the potential of a driving force to take this industry forward through gaining trust and credibility.
A couple of years ago I would have found great difficulty in praising either Derek or Paul as I found them a bit smart assed. I was wrong !

"driving force to take this industry forward".....

God, your a crank. This is no more an industry than a door handle polisher!!
Makes me laugh at the fake grandure some people develop when they're involved a low skilled ocupation.

We work hard at a small branch of the BIG TREE called "cleaning".
